Emergency Landing!

So what was supposed to take three hours (in air) to get to Kansas to see my husbands familia- turned in to 7 hours! Not fun. We ended up having to make an Medical Emergency Landing for a gentleman on the plane. So we took a FAST landing in Grand Junction CO (didn't know they had an airport...) to get this guy some medical attention. THEN what the flight attendants thought would take 30-45 min to get in the air again ended up taking 3 hours! We were stuck IN the airplane ON the tarmack in Grand Junction for 3 hours!! They wouldn't let us off the plane because of all the new security stuff checking us out and back in again. So there we were getting only granola bars and water while we waited! Did I mention that we were in the very last row?? You know in the seat where you can't recline.- ya. So when the captain turned off the seatbelt sign, and we knew we were stuck for a while we had a never ending line for the bathroom- right next to us! -- Now I am writing all of this in a completely exhausted state so if it seems a little bitter, that is why. I'm fine. Nothing else went wrong, but after getting up at 5am to cath the 6AM Flyaway, so we could get to the airport extra early for all the security changes, only to BREEZE through every check point in less than 20 min... needless to say it's been a LONG day!
It's 10 PM here which means it's 8PM in Cali, but I'm off to bed.
I feel better now that it's off my chest! wheeew! nite nite!
